UPVC window fitter — Boone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day to day you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
