Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
