Shuttering and concrete hand — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Greene County, Illinois. You will work at a precast concrete yard. The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience.
