Quality assurance assistant • Grainger County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Grainger County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits 3+ years on the tools preferred.
