Join our team: we are hiring a milling machinist in Denver County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
