Industrial sewing operator wanted in Halifax County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Halifax County, North Carolina. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
