Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Fulton County, New York. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Day to day you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Six days a week, one day off.
