Glazing installer — Sitka City and Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing installer in Sitka City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a double glazing firm. Your main tasks: • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
