We are recruiting: long-haul driver (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Roberts County, South Dakota. Day to day you will keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
