Tyre fitter — Halifax County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre fitter in Halifax County, Virginia. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. You will fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. Requirements: • Punctual and willing to work weekends • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends.
