Tiling assistant wanted in Isle of Wight County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. The job is on a new-build housing development. Day to day you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
