Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Spalding County, Georgia. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash.
