Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
