Argon welder wanted in Gila County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Gila County, Arizona. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
