Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Florence County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On a typical shift you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
