Wet plasterer — East Lothian

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wet plasterer in East Lothian, Scotland. You will work at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
