Immediate opening: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents The role involves dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls.
