Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Ontario County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Ontario County, New York. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
