Health and safety supervisor — Hancock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Hancock County, Kentucky. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day-to-day duties: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
