Panel welder — Orleans Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy production line. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
