Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Stephenson County, Illinois. Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
