Ladle pourer wanted in Seneca County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Seneca County, New York. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
