Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Keith County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On a typical shift you will take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
