Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Webster County, Nebraska. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
