Paint and prep technician — Hawaii County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Hawaii County, Hawaii. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns 4+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
