Argon arc welder • Jefferson Parish, Louisiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 2+ years on the tools preferred.
