Paint and prep technician wanted in Fulton County

Join our team: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Fulton County, Illinois. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Your main tasks: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
