Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a packaging factory. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges You will run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; set up and start the machine as per the job card; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
