Fire and safety officer • Saint Louis County, Missouri

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Saint Louis County, Missouri. You will be based on a high-rise building project. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Full-time, day shift.
