Join our team: stone mason (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stone mason in Jackson County, North Carolina. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. You will fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
