Immediate opening: reinforcement steel fixer (Kogi State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Dekina, Kogi State. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
