GTAW welder — Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Somerset County, Maine. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
