Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Cheboygan County, Michigan. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
