Stainless steel welder — Koochiching County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Koochiching County, Minnesota. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
