Order picker operator • City of Manassas Park, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an order picker operator in City of Manassas Park, Virginia. You will be based at a busy distribution centre. On the job you will handle: • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
