Fettler — Emmons County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Emmons County, North Dakota. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Full-time, day shift.
