Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Hyde County, North Carolina. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
