Great opportunity: rigging foreman (Osun State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Irewole, Osun State. On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
