Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Williamson County, Texas. The job is at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred.
