Fire and safety officer wanted in DeSoto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in DeSoto County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Rotating shifts.
