Great opportunity: gtaw welder (Arkansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Pulaski County, Arkansas. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
