Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Vinton County, Ohio. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
