Aluminium tig welder wanted in Elkhart County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time, day shift. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
