Now hiring: VMC operator (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lee County, Georgia. You will be based in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On a typical shift you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
