Tile mason — Mathews County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Mathews County, Virginia. You will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level. You should have: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
