Site carpenter • Lawrence County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Lawrence County, Kentucky. You will work on a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
