Urgent requirement: steel erection rigger (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Harper County, Kansas. The job is at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
