Requirements: • Valid driving licence • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Your main tasks: • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Service and replace timing belts and chains • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
