Steel erection rigger — Fulton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Fulton County, Indiana. The job is at a container port. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
