Scaffolding labourer wanted in Manatee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Manatee County, Florida. You will be based on a residential housing development. What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Able to read basic scaffold drawings You will read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
